The book I am writing for Nicholas Cowdery AM QC is nearly finished. It is a description of the major events and most important cases during his tenure as the Director of Public Prosecutions of New South Wales. Cowdery was the DPP for sixteen and a half years. He was, and remains, unapologetically outspoken about the role of independence in maintaining the rule of law.
